Copper Phosphorus
Copper Phosphorus or Phos-Copper is
used in non-ferrous goods manufacturing industry for introducing phosphorus
in the alloy compositions. The introduction of phosphorus deoxidises and
refine the alloys. The phos-copper is a homogenized alloy, which is
manufactured using pure materials in compliance with international standards
ensuring consistent pick-up of phosphorus material.
Application
Brazing Alloys, Welding Electrodes, Phosphor Bronze, Refining of
Hypereutectic Aluminum Silicon Alloys, Deoxidized Copper and Copper Alloys.
Copper Arsenic
The
Copper Arsenic master alloy is
used in both ferrous as well as non-ferrous industries. The arsenic is added
in low concentrations to improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum
bronze, while small additions to brasses inhibit dezincification under
certain corrosive conditions.
Copper Manganese
The
copper manganese master alloy
finds its usage in the production of high tensile brass and complex aluminum
bronze alloys. Copper Manganese can also be used for de-oxidation and
desulphurization of CuNi alloys.
Copper Silicon
Copper Silicon Master Alloys are
mainly used while producing silicon bronzes and silicon brasses. The element
is used for de-oxidation purposes and can also be added to CuNi alloys and
monels for precipitation hardening. In compare with pure silicon, the CuSi
master alloy possess relatively low melting point and has high density. In
combination with the specific metallographic structure it ensure very high
dissolution rates and recovery levels.
Copper Tellurium
Copper Tellurium is used in steel
and copper alloys to improve machinability. This acts as superior alloy in
all applications where products are drilled, turned or machined in some or
the other manner. The 50% of tellurium significantly improves the cutting
properties of copper.
Copper Nickel
The
Copper Nickel alloy is used for
its corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in marine applications that
takes place in salty water atmosphere. These are available in (10%, 20%,
25%, and 30%) in ingot form.
Applications :Valves, Pump components, Fittings, Flanges.
